Oh, I don’t know. You spend all day baking a sumptuous chocolate fudge cake smothered in rich ganache or a light, delicate, zesty lemon drizzle cake, and all you get is an ‘OMG… Delish’?
Actually, we’re happy with that. And, all joking aside, we are seriously good at cake.
If you are staying with us for a few nights, why not order some of our delicious home baked afternoon tea treats to enjoy in the guest drawing room.
Or, if you want a more memorable special event with friends and family, our vintage Afternoon Teas go down a treat with guests and the locals. Just ask Ciara when making your overnight reservation, and we will see if we can prepare something especially for you.
We also have a baking list from which you can order some of our fabulous home-baked treats to take away and enjoy at home.
Or, if you’re having a dinner party, let us take care of dessert. Simply order something utterly delicious, hide the box and take the credit.

Millionaire Shortbread

Our customers called it ‘Legendary’, because it quite simply is. 24 pieces of crisp shortbread topped with smooth luscious caramel and smothered in rich dark and sweet white chocolate.
Lemon Drizzle Squares
Serves 16 £20
16 squares of moist, fresh delicate sponge perfectly soaked in our refreshing sweet and zesty lemon drizzle.
Victoria Sponge
Serves6/8 £25
Both the queen of cakes and a simple classic, elevated to new heights of light and fluffy and filled with Chantilly cream and homemade jam.
Add fresh strawberries throughout and on top for an extra £5.
Chocolate Fudge Cake
Serves 12 £35
Indulge in our most decadent and dense sandwich cake, rich with chocolate and smothered in ganache.
Also available topped with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries for an extra £10.
Pavlova

Picture this: soft meringue base. Filled generously with homemade lemon curd. Fresh Chantilly cream. All topped with toasted almonds.
